Recently, Windey Energy Technology Group held a “Windey Day” event in Hanoi, Vietnam, themed “Enhancing Energy Resilience: Energy Storage Empowers Vietnamese Micro-grids.” Industry representatives from the energy, power, and financial sectors gathered to exchange in-depth views on how energy storage technology can help optimize Vietnam’s energy structure and improve the resilience of its power system.

 

Vietnam is currently in a critical period of accelerating its energy transition. As the installed capacity of renewable energy continues to grow, the high penetration ratio of green energy poses greater challenges to the stability, security, and flexibility of the power system.
